We participated in the university training day on logistics in Chiriquí
The Latin University of Panama, David campus, through the Faculty of Business, held a training day aimed at students of International Trade and Logistics.
As part of this academic activity, Puerto Barú participated with a presentation by Carlos Somoza, Communications and Public Affairs Manager, who shared with the young people a current vision on national logistics development and the opportunities that the future port will generate in the western region of the country.
The purpose of the event was to strengthen students’ knowledge and keep them informed about the trends and perspectives of the Panamanian logistics sector, highlighting the importance of the province of Chiriquí within this growth.
With these types of initiatives, Puerto Barú reaffirms its commitment to the training and professional development of new generations, promoting learning spaces and links with academia.
During the discussion, the students had the opportunity to ask questions, thus reinforcing their knowledge about the strategic role that logistics plays in the country’s economic development.
This exchange brought young people closer to the reality of the sector, allowing them to visualize clear paths for their professional future and learn how projects like Puerto Barú will open new possibilities for employment, innovation and regional growth.
